BEES ON MY PROPERTY!... What Should I do?

Due to liability issues we cannot remove bees from private or commercial structures, nor recommend live bee removal specialists (especially beekeepers) that do so.
We encourage our beekeepers to not collect feral (wild) swarms, nests, and especially not those within structures or in close proximity to humans, their pets, or animals, but to follow Best Management Practices including purchasing their colonies queened with a queen of known origin from a reputable queen supplier (and marking the queen is also recommended).
So What Can You do?
Even though we cannot recommend somebody, you may be able to find a live bee removal specialist to remove, rescue, and relocate your live bees using these search tips which have proven successful for some: Use GOOGLE with the following KEYWORDS which narrow down the results to somebody in your area who may not exterminate your bees: Try searching for live bee removal relocation rescue fort myers florida However, substitute your city (i.e, live bee removal relocation rescue alva florida or live bee removal relocation rescue lehigh florida and you should get applicable results. Also, don't be fooled by the results at the top of the search results nor the ones along the right side of the search results marked "Ad" or "Ads" for those are paid results which are not always applicable. Look for top results immediately below the "Ad" (these are known as "organic" search results) and which are more likely to provide the service for which you searched instead of paid results. Do NOT include the word "free" in your search which often leads you to many removers which are not really free and could result in a sad removal experience. Remember a beekeeper is not a live bee removal specialist; however, a live bee removal specialist may also be a beekeeper.
NOTE: BEE REMOVAL SERVICES ARE TYPICALLY NOT FREE!... there is almost always a charge for live bee removal services! Unfortunately we know of no organizations or agencies that receive grants or funding to permit them to remove bees for free or even at a reduced rate from standard rates for bee removals which are based on many variables… each removal relocation has its own unique characteristics that govern pricing. There are many reasons that these services are not free (they bore most people, so trust us), so when you locate a live bee removal specialist always discuss costs and your willingness to pay upfront to avoid misunderstandings which are caused by news media, word-of-mouth, opinion, etc. such as "Call a beekeeper and they will come out and be happy to take the bees off your hands". This may be true in other parts of the country or even in north Florida, but is not usually the case in southwest Florida. Please don't threaten to kill the bees as an attempt to persuade or extort the professional to come out and remove your bees for free or a reduced fee.
